I’m offering the next Live Looping Lab at Nalu Kava in Portland on Sunday, November 11th. Early bird pricing of $20 through November 1st! $25 after. Please follow this link to sign up: https://bookeo.com/anniesbooking?promotion=Early_Bird
Live looping allows musicians to lay down layer after layer of sound in real time. Please join us for an evening of creation and experimentation with live looping at this workshop. We will explore building songs with the looper, technical considerations, and avoiding common looping pitfalls. We will also co-create group loops in real time with a Boss RC 30 and 300 loop stations.
Loopers of all levels are welcome. We will have the space to split the group into two stations at this venue, so beginners and more experienced loopers will be able to practice with others at their level.
And now for a glowing testimonial:
“The first time I heard about Annie’s class, I had been interested in looping for years. Despite my interest, I felt intimidated and a bit overwhelmed trying to get started.
Annie is a fantastic instructor who is able to create an open and positive learning environment for beginner and expert alike. After my first class, I had to go out and get a looping pedal because I was hooked. I’m so thankful I took a risk and signed up!
Looking forward to more opportunities to loop!”
If you would like to learn more about songwriting, singing, ukulele, guitar, music theory, or looping skills, please sign up here and select “private session” and then “private music lesson”. I am happy to share my knowledge with students of all ages.
I also share music with elders in our community at assisted living homes. This is a link to my ElderAudience site.
